EUSTAR SSc Live Course​​

The EUSTAR course provides in-depth training and knowledge sharing on scleroderma/systemic sclerosis (SSc), specifically designed for healthcare professionals, researchers, and trainees dedicated to the study and treatment of this complex disease. 

It is part of our broader commitment to education and professional development within the field of scleroderma research and treatment.

The course participant fee is €100 (EUR), which includes accommodation, all meals, the gala dinner, and access to all events. Please note that course fees do not cover travel expenses.

  1. Comprehensive Curriculum: deep dive into a wide range of SSc topics, from pathophysiology and clinical manifestations to diagnosis, management, and the latest research developments.
  2. Expert-led training: learn from leading experts, many of whom are part of the EUSTAR network. These experts share the latest findings and best practices in Scleroderma care and research.
  3. Interactive learning: engage in dynamic learning experiences that include lectures, case discussions, and interactive sessions. Participants have the opportunity to interact directly with experts and peers, enriching their understanding of SSc.
  4. Collaboration and networking: build connections with fellow professionals and researchers. The course fosters a collaborative environment where ideas are shared, and partnerships are formed, driving the advancement of scleroderma research and treatment.

Call for Abstracts: Poster Session

The EUSTAR Course includes an exciting opportunity to actively engage in the course through our Poster Session. This interactive platform is designed to showcase innovative research and foster dynamic discussions among participants. This is a chance to share work with a distinguished audience, gain valuable feedback, and contribute to the vibrant academic discussions that define the EUSTAR community.

Event highlights:

  • Poster exhibition: posters will be displayed throughout the EUSTAR course, giving everyone ample time to view and engage with them.
  • Dedicated poster session: an expert jury will review the posters during a dedicated session, engaging with authors to explore their research in depth.
  • Special recognition: the best poster will be awarded a special prize in recognition of outstanding contribution.

Abstract submissions for this were open until 21 January 2025.

The EUSTAR Advisory Board will select the top ten projects to be presented during the course in Bordeaux. The selected posters will be presented in A1 format (594mm x 841mm)
