This first edition of the clinical science journal club of the EUSTAR Young Investigators (YIG) summarizes some of the recent studies that have been published regarding systemic sclerosis related renal crisis. Scleroderma renal crisis (SRC) is a rare but potentially life‐threatening complication of systemic sclerosis (SSc). SRC is described to occur in approximately 5% of all patients.
