EULAR Online Course on Systemic Sclerosis

The EULAR On-line Course on Systemic Sclerosis consists of 10 modules which deal with physiopathology, clinical aspects and management of this complex disease.

All modules, developed and written by EUSTAR, differ from the main EULAR On-line Course. The duration of this course is aimed at 9 months, finishing with a final exam and, upon passing, with a EULAR certificate. If the course is not completed or the exam failed after the first year, the course will automatically extend for one more year without charge.

The course is not only aimed at rheumatologists, but also also internists, nephrologists, dermatologists, neurologists, pulmonologists and immunologists.

Knowledge and skills are targeted to suit a level of knowledge appropriate for the final years of training as a rheumatologist. The on-line course was developed with a substantial grant from EULAR and is continuously highly subsidised by EULAR so that the entire course can be offered at EUR 100 per participant.

New courses start each September. Registration opens each April.

Course modules are presented below. For additional information and registration please follow the link: http://www.eular.org/edu_online_course_ssc.cfm

EULAR textbook on Systemic Sclerosis

Based on the EULAR online course, the EULAR textbook on Systemic Sclerosis was published in 2013. The content of the EULAR Textbook on Systemic Sclerosis is based on the EULAR On-line course on Systemic Sclerosis. For participants of this course we offer the book for a reduced price of EUR 50.
